The four-week e-Learning course for the United Nations Young Leaders Online Training Programme is implemented using the e-learning platform of UNITAR.
The course consists of 4 distinct modules, each of which can be completed at your own leisure and calls for 4-6 hours of study per week.
The UN is the first module.
Conference diplomacy, Module 2
Sustainable Development Goals, Module 3 (SDGs)
Cosmopolitan Communication, Module 4
Weekly reading assignments, multimedia files, and discussion forums where students and UNITAR instructors can exchange ideas are all part of the course. Additionally, a number of 1.5-hour live webinars will be added to the Young Leaders Online Training Programme. The following themes will be covered by these presentations, which will be made by UN specialists using the platform Zoom:
Webinar A: The UN Organization
Webinar B: The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Webinar D: UN Career Development Model United Nations (MUN) Training.
There will be one 3.5-hour online session per week in addition to the previously mentioned live webinars.
Through virtual tours of the UN Palais des Nations and Geneva's diplomatic quarter, these will emphasize leadership as well as getting to know the city's multilateral environment.
